birthing and postnatal treatment.
I treat a wide range of conditions at my clinic near Beaconsfield,
at Beautyvell in Uxbridge and
at Uxbridge Community Acupuncture Clinic.
I have worked on the ARIX cancer trial at Mt Vernon Hospital,
funded by Cancer Research UK and am a member of the Mount Vernon
Complementary Therapies Register. I also worked for several years at the
flagship NHS Gateway Acupuncture Clinic, treating back pain, musculo-
skeletal pain and addiction problems with smoking or alcohol.
In addition to acupuncture, I use fire cupping, moxa (a herbal stick which
is burned - to help with musculo-skeletal and period pain, and many
other conditions) as well as electro-acupuncture. Clients are given
individual dietary and lifestyle advice, together with appropriate
relaxation techniques and exercises if necessary.

Fertility:
I have experience of treating women and couples who are at different
stages of their journey towards pregnancy and birth. Approximately 15%
of couples trying to conceive are affected by fertility problems.
Acupuncture aims to help treat many of the conditions that can contribute
to infertility: polycystic ovaries, uterine fibroids or polyps, endometriosis,
lack of ovulation. Acupuncture also seeks to regulate periods and boost ovulation to optimise chances of pregnancy.
For men, treatment can focus on low sperm count, poor sperm motility or morphology; all
of these can reduce the chances of pregnancy.
For some women, even after exhaustive tests, no obvious cause can be
found for the inability to conceive and they are labelled as having
unexplained infertility. Stress can significantly add to this problem.
TCM seeks to support and help them achieve their goal, according to
each individual's needs, whether through natural conception or
assisted reproduction such as ICSI or IVF.

including the use of acupressure in labour to help relieve pain and
assist with contractions. I also offer post-natal acupuncture to
